Dear WHSC members,
 

It’s hard to believe that we are approaching the end of the season again. I hope all of you have enjoyed the club this season. Here are some announcements:
 

Pool Heater

Over the weekend, our pool heater stopped working. Thanks to our maintenance director Michael Brooding, we just had the service company come in and fixed the heater today. However, it’ll take a couple days before the pool temperature is more comfortable. In addition, with the air quality being poor because of the fire, we would like to recommend members not swimming today and tomorrow.
 

Welcome New Board Member

First of all, we at the board would like to give a big thanks to long term Work Volunteering Director Nicole Canon. She did a tremendous job organizing the member volunteers on maintaining and improving the facility over the years. With Nicole’s departure, I would like to welcome Rebecca Spambati who will take over the director position. Rebecca and her husband Dave bring a lot of engineering and construction experience and expertise. We are really fortunate to have Rebecca on the board.
 

Annual Club Meeting

Annual Club Meeting is scheduled to be held on Sunday 10/29 from 3pm to 4pm at the club. All members are welcome to come and give the board your feedbacks and suggestions about the club. I hope to meet many of you then.

We would also like to invite you to fill up a quick 10 question survey to help us improve our club. Especially if you can not make it to the annual meeting, your answers to the survey will help us a lot with how to run the club better next year.
